UK airport Heathrow is reported to have refused to allow extra flights from India before tomorrow (April 23) when the country is added to Britain's "red-list" of locations from which most travel is banned due to a high number of COVID-19 cases.
The airport has commented that it has refused requests from airlines for additional flights because of concerns about queues at passport control and that it did not want to exacerbate existing pressures at the border, according to Reuters.
