Latvian flag carrier airBaltic has launched direct flights from Riga to Bucharest, Porto, Burgas, Bilbao and Tivat.
The routes opened after being announced over recent months by the airline, which described Bucharest as "the perfect mix of historical and modern" and Bilbao as "known for its impressive architecture, culture, and world-renowned museums".
The Bucharest route is to be thrice-weekly, one more flight than the other four additions.
