Finnair has announced its June traffic results, which indicate a decrease in Revenue Passenger Kilometres (RPK) of 0.6% year-on-year, with load factors of 83.4%.
The capacity on Asian flights decreased by 1% and the traffic measured in RPK by 1.6% year‐on‐year.
European traffic measured in RPK grew by 12.5%, and capacity by 11.1% year-on-year.
In April –June, the passenger unit revenue per available seat kilometre fell by 6.5% year‐on-year.
Finnair CFO Erno Hildén said: “Passenger unit revenue for the second quarter decreased year‐on‐year, mainly reflecting weaker performance in European and Asian traffic than in the comparison period in 2013.”
