Ethiopian Airlines has resumed flights to Djibouti after two days of disruption due to ash erupting from the Dubbi volcano in southern Eritrea.
However, many other flights to Northern Ethiopia and Khartoum will remain disrupted by the ash cloud. But flights to Djibouti have resumed.
“Today we have resumed our flight to Djibouti after a two days of disruption. But the routes to Northern Ethiopia and Khartoum are still suspended,” said Ethiopian Airline’s Head of Communication Office, Getachew Tesfu.
Ethiopian Airlines urged its customers to contact their travel agents or Ethiopian ticket offices about the status of their flights before they go aboard to the affected destinations.
