Low-cost carrier Edelweiss has opened a thrice-weekly Zurich-Bari route.
"We are very pleased that with Bari we are expanding our offer in Italy can expand with a beautiful and fascinating holiday destination," said Andreas Meier, the airline's head of corporate communications.
Ahead of the first flight on March 31, Meier joined Rolf Hancock, the vice president aviation development at Zurich Airport, for a ribbon-cutting event.
