Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has announced its 2019 key strategic and operational highlights for its leasing division, DAE Capital.
During 2019, DAE Capital delivered and committed to deliver over US$1.75 billion in aircraft assets. The lessor grew its managed and committed to manage assets portfolio to over 125 aircraft valued at US$3.5 billion.
DAE Capital also issued US$1.9 billion of new unsecured debt; its unsecured debt-to-total deb ratio is now 61.5%
During 2019, DAE Capital repurchased US$807 million of common share, and reduced notes receivable from shareholder by US$700 million
DAE Capital’s owned, managed and committed to own and manage aircraft, fleet reached 410 aircraft, with an average age of its owned fleet of 6 years and 6.3 years for its managed fleet. The lessor now has 112 customers in 56 countries, with 100% portfolio utilization. In 2019, DAE Capital bought 13 aircraft and sold 41.
