Continental Airlines is now a wholly owned subsidiary of United Continental Holdings. The airline will redeem all $175 million of outstanding 5% convertible notes due 2023. The first of $75 million occurred on Wednesday, with a second redemption for the remaining $100 million scheduled for November 24.
