Although it is 18 months since China Southern took delivery of its first A380, the carrier has not yet operated the aircraft as it is yet to receive authority to operate its full fleet on viable services. Full year 2012 losses for the four A380 fleet are reported to be between RMB150-200 million (US$24-32 million).
