French charter carrier Blue Line, which had been in administration since September, has ceased to operate. Its fleet of eight aircraft - two Airbus A310s, four Boeing MD-83s and two Fokker 100s - has been returned to leasing firms.
There was hope that the carrier could be restructured when new shareholders were brought in earlier in 2010 but this did not come to pass. No reason was given for the close.
