During the Farnborough International Airshow, AZAL Azerbaijan Airlines held discussions with Boeing, Ilyushin Finance, Antonov Design Bureau and other aircraft manufacturers concerning possible orders.
Boeing talks focused on the financing and proposed delivery of ten 737 MAX aircraft between 2018 and 2020, while those with the Russians centred on the lease of ten MC-21s with delivery between 2019 and 2020. An LOI concerning the latter has already been signed.
