Asiana Airlines is reviewing its options after its sale to HDC Hyundai Development is likely to fall through, according to local media reports.
The firm is conducting a review of whether to separate Asiana Airlines and its subsidiaries, including LCCs Air Seoul and Air Busan, after handing over some of Asiana Airlines’ service routes to the subsidiaries.
The plan calls for Asiana focusing on Europe, the US, Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo routes and transferring Southeast Asia, Japan and China routes to Air Seoul and Air Busan.
