Matt Hafner, Southwest's vice president of integrated operations, has been named vice president of the operations coordination center.
Jack Smith, AirTran's senior vice president of customer service, will become Southwest's vice president of ground operations/AirTran.
Nan Barry, Southwest's senior director to the chief executive, has been promoted to managing director of the executive office, while Jim Sturgis has been appointed managing director of quality, programs and maintenance safety at Southwest.
