After it was reported by Reuters that Bombardier was in talks with Airbus for the possible sale of its C Series programme, Airbus Group was forced to issue a statement confirming that it !has been exploring business opportunities with Canada-based Bombardier” but that “such discussions are no longer being pursued”. Airbus is refusing to make any further comment on the matter.
