Air Nostrum Group names Guillermo González Vallina as new CEO

Spanish aviation holding company Air Nostrum Group has appointed Guillermo González Vallina, effective February 1, 2026.

González Vallina will be the CEO of Air Investment S.L., the parent company that controls all the aerospace businesses within the Air Nostrum Group.

Air Nostrum operates for the Iberia Group and is one of Spain’s and Europe’s largest regional airlines.

It has a fleet of 43 new-generation aircraft and connects 59 destinations in eight countries across Europe and North Africa.

Currently serving as distribution manager at World2Meet (W2M), the travel division of the Iberostar Group, González Vallina will be assuming a CEO post that has been vacant for more than six months.

At W2M, González Vallina is currently responsible for the group's entire leisure retail business, with a network of 200 agencies operating under the Azulmarino and Grand Azulmarino brands.

He has previously been responsible for W2M's business travel, sports, meetings & events business, and the marketing of the company's own tour operators' products.

He joined W2M in 2022 after working for Iberia for six years. At Iberia, he held the positions of sales director for Spain, Portugal, and North Africa, and managing director at senior travel operator Mundiplan.

Previously, he spent eight years as business development director at bus and coach operator ALSA, and as project manager at Spanish travel agency Viajes El Corte Inglés.
