Air India is planning rebrand its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express and move its headquarters to Thiruvananthapuram. The move is part of the National Aviation Co. of India Ltd (Nacil) restructuring plan as it seeks to address its debt burden of Rs.18,000 crore. It too plans to rebrand to Air India Ltd, while its regional airline India Hopper will also get a new name.
