Air Canada has named Claudette McGowan to its board of directors.
A "global information technology leader," according to the flag carrier, McGowan is chief executive of Protexxa Inc., a cybersecurity software and services company.
She has in the past worked for Deloitte, Metropolitan Police Services, North York General Hospital, Bank of Montreal and The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
The Air Canada board was left otherwise unchanged at its May 12 shareholders' meeting.
