Zhao joins ABL Aviation as head of APAC, ex-Japan

Joey Zhao has been appointed as head of Asia-Pacific, Ex-Japan, in ABL Aviation’s Hong Kong office. Before joining ABL Aviation, Zhao worked at Bocomm Aviation Leasing Ireland as the head of commercial, leading all airline relationships and origination efforts in the EMEA and Americas regions. Zhao started his career as an HQ management trainee at the Bank of Communications Group where he developed a broad knowledge of commercial banking through the Greater China and Hong Kong rotation programme. Zhao  was named “40 under 40” by Airline Economics in 2021. He holds a master’s degree from Columbia University in New York
