Wizz Air promotes COO

Wizz Air Holdings has promoted Diederik Pen, Chief Operations Officer, to the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer effective April 1, 2017. Diederik Pen joined Wizz Air in January 2013 as Chief Operations Officer and has led the company’s operations team to deliver best-in-class, lowest cost and reliable operations for the airline. Based in the Company’s Budapest operations headquarters and reporting to the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, the new position is a member of the Company’s executive team, with the Company’s Chief Flight Operations Officer and a number of other heads of functions as direct reports.
