Andre Viljoen has been appointed as CEO of Air Mauritius. Viljoen has been acting CEO since December 2010. Viljoen, who was CEO of South African Airways (SA) between 2001 and 2004, is a chartered accountant with over 30 years airline and travel industry experience. His career includes time as financial and commercial director of South Africa’s Comair Group, COO of South African Express Airways, CFO and EVP of SA and, most recently, CFO and CIO of MK. Appalsamy Thomas has also been named as chairman of the airline.
