Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) has appointed MG Ong Su Kiat Melvyn as a non-independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 8 June 2018. MG Ong, 43, is currently Chief of Defence Force.  He joined the SAF in 1994 and has held a broad range of staff and command appointments in the course of his military career.  MG Ong holds a Master of Science, (Science) from the London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London, UK. ST Engineering also announced the appointment of SLTC Xu Youfeng as Alternate Director to MG Ong on the same date.
