Magellan Aviation Group has announced Anthony Spaulding as its new chief executive and president, with the appointment taking effect on 1 April 2023. Spaulding, a pilot, mechanic and MBA who has worked in aviation for three decades, is replacing chairman Michimoto Asano, who has been interim chief executive since January 2022. Spaulding joined Magellan in May 2020 as executive vice president, and is, the company said, “a highly experienced, successful, and well-regarded business leader”.
