AWAS has announced that Karl Griffin has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Karl joined AWAS in March 2007 as Chief Technical Officer and has over 22 years’ experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining AWAS, Karl was Chief Technical Officer with CIT Aerospace International. Karl will be responsible for Technical Asset Management, Legal, IT and Process Improvement functions. AWAS also announced that Daniel Bunyan has been appointed to the position of Chief Investment Officer. Daniel joined AWAS in October 2010 as Head of Portfolio Management and has over 15 years’ experience in the aviation industry.
