The Maples Group recently held its biennial review of various global and local management positions.  Aside from succession planning and some notable appointments following a few retirements, the management team continues essentially unchanged across the global organisation. Peter Stapleton succeeds Nicholas Butcher (who has retired from the firm) as Ireland Managing Partner.  Michael Gagie (Asia), Richard May (British Virgin Islands), Matthew Gardner (Cayman Islands), Manuela Belmontes and Philip Ireland (Dubai), Nick Evans (Jersey), Heidi de Vries (London) and Johan Terblanche (Luxembourg) continue as Local / Regional Office Managing Partners. Aristos Galatopoulos (Dispute Resolution & Insolvency), Scott Macdonald (Finance) and Tim Frawley (Regulatory)
