Marie-Christine Lombard has resigned as chief executive officer of TNT Express. She will be replaced by current chief financial officer, Bernard Bot, on an interim basis. Lombard will leave at the end of the month to pursue an external opportunity. TNT Express chairman Antony Burgmans stated that the move has “no bearing” on the UPS merger that is on schedule for completion in early 2013.
