US regional carrier, ExpressJet Airlines, has named John Greenlee as its chief financial officer and senior vice president of planning and operations control. Greenlee spent more than 20 years of finance, fleet planning and regional airline experience at United Airlines and Continental Airlines. Most recently, he served as managing director of United Express Business Strategy. ExpressJet operates as United Express on behalf of United Airlines, which owns a minority interest in ExpressJet’s parent company, ManaAir LLC. Greenlee joins an ExpressJet executive team led by Subodh Karnik, who was recently named the carrier’s president and CEO.
