Embraer appoints new VP Contracts & Asset Management

Marcelo Santiago has been appointed to lead the contracts and asset management team of Embraer’s commercial aviation business unit from October 1. Santiago will report directly to Arjan Meijer, President and CEO Embraer Commercial Aviation. Having joined Embraer on the E-Jet programme in 2001, Santiago has for the last seven years been managing director customer finance and credit risk management, overseeing the needs of all Embraer business units. His expertise covers structured and aviation finance, sales, leasing, debt financing, capital markets, risk management, credit analysis, securitisation, export and trade finance.
