Embraer has created two new vice-presidencies, with the global procurement post to be filled by director of procurement Roberto Chaves and the strategy, digital and innovation job going to Dimas Tomelin, director of strategy. Chaves joined Embraer in 2001 and has held senior positions in procurement, including managing suppliers at the industrial plant in Harbin, and has led the company’s shared services centre.
