Chief executive Peter Gerber is to leave Brussels Airlines after three decades, with former incumbent Christina Foerster of the Lufthansa Group executive board to return on an interim basis. Gerber is to also leave Lufthansa Group, the airline’s parent company, where he doubled up as chief representative for European Affairs as well as serving as chairman of the executive board of Lufthansa Cargo.
