It’s being reported by various media outlets that the executive in charge of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner factory in North Charleston, USA is leaving the company, according to an internal memo. David Carbon has served the position of vice president of operations at the plant since 2016. The memo stated that Carbon will return to Australia to care for his family – no full time successor has been named as of yet. However, Boeing has confirmed that Darrel Larson, a director of operations at the factory, will lead the team in the interim and the company will name Carbon’s successor soon.
