Boeing hires hundreds of staff to assist with resuming 737 Max flights

Boeing is hiring hundreds of temporary workers to assist with aircraft maintenance and customer delivery preparations of grounded 737 Max jets at Grant County International Airport in Washington State.

This marks the first publicly detailed plans for Boeing to attempt to deliver hundreds of parked planes to airline across the world.

The firm is intending to move all its planes from Moses Lake in the eastern Washington region where it runs test flights to facilities where its factories are located in the Seattle and Everett areas.

Recently, Boeing chief executive Dennis Muilenberg has reaffirmed his expectation that the company will have the grounding of Boeing 737 Max jets lifted by the end of the year.
