Umberto Martinello started as ATR’s head of communications and corporate branding on January 1, the French-Italian aircraft manufacturer has announced. A former head of social media and digital marketing with Leonardo, Martinello “has developed a strong expertise in the fields of internal and external communication, social media, digital marketing, e-reputation and crisis management,” ATR said on January 9, adding that his work at Leonardo led to “significant and measurable improvements in visibility and awareness of the company” and strengthened its “brand image in new markets”.
