Aeroflot’s deputy general director for legal and property matters Vladimir Alexandrov is one of four individuals who have been charged for alleged embezzlement of company funds. Russian federal investigators have charged the four individuals, including Alexandrov, for participating in a fraud involving theft of Rb250 million ($3.8 million) over the years 2016-18. It is alleged that Alexandrov conspired with a former director of the airline’s legal department to arrange several contracts for provision of legal services, to be carried out by two lawyers. The allegation claims that the funds were transferred to cover false work claims linked to the lawyers.
