AFI KLM E&M and Virgin Atlantic have signed a support services agreement for the airline’s new fleet of 12 A350-1000 aircraft, the first unit of which will be delivered this summer. The flight-hour support contract covers repairs, access to a pool of spare parts and the provision of a Main Base Kit in London. Virgin Atlantic already has a contract with AFI KLM E&M for component support services for its current fleet of Boeing 787, 747 and Airbus A330/A340 aircraft.
