A United Express De Havilland 8 aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing after the pilot smelt smoke in the cockpit. The aircraft, en route from Washington’s Dulles International Airport to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, made an emergency landing at Johnstown’s airport. All thirty seven passengers on board were evacuated, as the aircraft underwent an inspection by fire crews. It was later discovered that they found nothing burning on-board the plane. All passengers reached their destination by arrangements by United.
