Spirit Airlines and Lufthansa Technik AG have signed an exclusive four-year Airframe components contract for 28 A320s family with options for additional aircraft. Charles Rue, Vice President Supply Chain of Spirit Airlines, points out: “Lufthansa Technik was able to tailor its services exactly to Spirit’s needs and requirements in order for us to continue our high utilization operation while also keeping costs at a minimum, which is of most importance for a growing carrier such as Spirit Airlines.
