MTU Maintenance and Spanish airline Air Europa have signed an exclusive seven year contract for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the airline’s CF34-10E engines. The contract between MTU Maintenance and Majorca-based Air Europa includes shop visits, on-site services and lease support as part of a customized solution tailored specifically to the airlines’ needs. The contract is valued at approximately US$120 million and covers the 24 engines, including spares, used on the airline’s 11 E195 aircraft.
