Oman Air and Lufthansa Technik have signed a base maintenance contract for Oman Air’s fifteen Boeing 737NG aircraft. The C-checks include ACARS (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System) modifications for nine of these aircraft. The checks and modifications will take place at the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance location in Budapest, Hungary. Peter Hill, CEO of Oman Air, stated: “We have been very satisfied with the base maintenance work Lufthansa Technik delivered to us in 2010.
