Iberia Maintenance, part of International Airlines Group (IAG), said it has put together “a long-term agreement” with HK Express for 32 V2500 aircraft engines. A subsidiary of Cathay Pacific, HK Express is to avail of Iberia’s “efficiency improvements”, including “the extension of engine repair in-house capability, workscope adjustments to ensure shop visit optimisation and used serviceable material sourcing”, according to a statement by the signatories.
