Duncan Aviation is planning a $40 million expansion project at Battle Creek Executive Airport. The expansion was on the cards for many years but the project was delayed due to the pandemic. The expanded facility is expected to create 70 jobs at Battle Creek Duncan aviation. According to Duncan Aviation, the plan for facility expansion is in sync with the increasing demand for hangar space to complete airframe, engine, interior, paint, and avionics modifications work for business aircraft fleets.
