Aventure Aviation has purchased its first aircraft for teardown, a wide-body Boeing 767-300ER, MSN 24952 from the Bank of Utah and Aeroturbine, Inc. The aircraft will be dismantled for parts at Aeroturbine’s facility in Goodyear, AZ, starting February 2014. “This is a new league of business for the company,” said Zaheer Faruqi, President of Aventure Aviation. “We are excited about this project as it will give us the opportunity to increase our service to the Boeing community.” With over 1,000 Boeing 767 planes in worldwide service, this aircraft was of particular interest to Aventure.
