Austrian Airlines and GE expand TrueChoice Flight Hour agreement on GE90 engines

Austrian Airlines and GE expanded a TrueChoice Flight Hour agreement to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services to 10 GE90-90B engines that power its Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The agreement is valued at $70 million over the life of the contract. “The TrueChoice Flight Hour agreement with Austrian Airlines will help the airline ensure their assets receive high-quality OEM material and workscopes to maintain optimal performance over the engine’s life cycle while keeping their cost of ownership low,” said Kevin McAllister, president and chief executive officer of GE Aviation’s Services business.
