American Airlines Flight 1693 made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico due to an engine failure. The A321 had departed from DFW International Airport on Sunday night but experienced an engine failure on the right side of the aircraft. There were 178 passengers and six crew members on board. The aircraft landed safely and were placed on another flight to Las Vegas. The aircraft is being inspected.
