Airbus denies plans to set up MRO base in Nagpur

Airbus has denied it has any plans to establish an aircraft maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) depot at Mihan in Nagpur despite claims by state chief minister Prithviraj Chavan’s announcement that the manufacturer would be part of the international aviation hub at Nagpur. The Mihan project is being developed by Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) and Boeing has already begun work on a MRO here.
