An Air India 777 aircraft was taxiing to the aerobridge at John F Kennedy Airport when its wing touched that of a JetBlue 145 A320 that was being pulled back for takeoff. No passengers on either of the plane were injured, but the incident has resulted into an investigation by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) into the circumstances and cause of the incident. The Air India jet incurred damage to the aircraft’s left wing tip.
