Thai Airways has agreed to lease 22 aircraft from four leasing companies: International lease Finance Corp (ILFC), which secured the most deals, Aviation Lease and Finance Company (Alafco), US-based CIT Aerospace International (CIT) and RBS Aerospace. All the aircraft were taken on the standard 12-year leasing term with the earliest delivery next year and the last in 2017. ILFC will lease six Boeing B787-8s to Thai Airways between 2014 and 2015, and two 787-9s in 2017.
