Ray Sisson and Credit Suisse have teamed up to create a profoundly new business in the aviation market. SCALE Aviation, a Dublin-based, wholly-owned subsidiary of Credit Suisse, is described as a conduit liquidity provider to the aviation industry. SCALE, with Sisson as chairman, is part of the broader global markets securitised products business at Credit Suisse – which is headed by Michael Dryden, global head of securitised products finance at Credit Suisse. The new subsidiary is being presented as an extension of the investment bank’s securitised products market business, which has been active in the transportation and aviation finance market
