Jazeera Airways will put an immediate aircraft order on hold, with the Kuwait-based airline instead planning to focus on expanding its fleet through aircraft leases, CEO Rohit Ramachandran has told Reuters. The airline had planned to make a decision on whether to order up to 25 narrowbody jets by either Airbus, Boeing or Embraer, but now  has admitted that “rather than commit to a large aircraft order we are picking up these distressed units at fantastic lease rates”. The airline had previously stated in its financial results statement that it would take delivery of three new A320neo aircraft on order,
