Jazeera Airways Group’s aircraft leasing division, Sahaab Aircraft Leasing, has finalised a deal with TAP Portugal to place two A320s on long-term lease with the Portuguese carrier. Jazeera Group Chairman Marwan Boodai said: “We welcome TAP Portugal as Sahaab’s fourth international customer and look forward to a long-term relationship with the airline”. As well as its leases to TAP Portugal, Jazeera has four other A320s placed with Virgin America, and has leased one each with SriLankan Airlines and Flynas.
