GE Capital Aviation Services (Gecas), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, has delivered a new Airbus A320 aircraft to Virgin America. The delivery is the second new A320 from Gecas to be delivered to Virgin America. GECAS has worked closely with Virgin America since its start-up and certification. Virgin America’s fleet is projected to grow by two-thirds by the end of 2011 and will triple in size by 2016.
