Comsys Aviation Leasing buys 20 ARJ21-700s

Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC) and Comsys Aviation Leasing have signed a purchase agreement for 20 ARJ21-700 advanced regional jets at the Zhuhai Airshow). The deal lifts COMAC’s order book for the ARJ21-700 to 278. The ARJ21-700 aircraft is expected to receive its Type Certificate from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) by the end of this year, with first deliveries to launch customer Chengdu Airlines (EU) scheduled in late 2014.
